I wear my Pearl Necklace all the time and I am 24! If guys want to think of "pearl necklace" then you don't need to be around them. I am also in the Jewelry business and Pearls are HOT HOT HOT and also will be!!!

Don’t worry! No one will associate you with the other "pearl necklace!" I wear pearls from my grandmother because they are a classic piece of jewelry. They go great with cashmere sweaters and blouses. Your necklace sounds beautiful! Flaunt it!

The market of pearls is already monopolized, mikimoto or akoya certified pearls for jewelry are the only kind of pearls that are very expensive. South sea pearls and Tahitians for sole pearls.

Cultured pearls are more expensive than conch shell or fresh water pearls but for not much.
If you go to ebay and search for cultured pearls you will find hundreds of necklaces for almost nothing! most of them have a certificate.

in england pearl jewellery (especially) necklaces are really stylish this season, and has been over the past few months.

Know anything about Heller Cultured Pearls?
I have a necklace that was passed down to me with a large amount of fairly big pearls on them…I’m pretty sure they are real, they ARE very old (maybe from the 40’s/50’s) and they even come with Registry Certificate, on it is the Registry Number and it even states that, "Every Heller cultured pearl is a gem of unusual beauty and is guarenteed "Grown in the Living Oyster."
Basically my questions are, does anyone know anything about this ‘Heller’ company? And if these pearls are real, how much might they be worth if I found the right person to buy them?(They are in absolutley perfect condition.)

Does anyone know of a business that buys jewelry? Not for gold value. say diamond earrings, rings, pearls .?
I have a lot of jewelry I need to get rid of. Some very nice, new (diamond earrings, diamond bracelet, diamond anniversary ring, gold chains etc.) and some older maybe not so nice depending on taste.

Pearl jewelry, actually, necklace q?
So wanted to say necklace but the dumb relation to the sexually derived term"pearl necklace" is why i don’t wear mine. I have seen a couple friends wear theirs out sometimes. So i think it should be fine. Everytime I think of wearing it though, (it’s a one strand, 16-17′ basic oblong freshwater pearl necklace, my bro got in from Vietnam for me,) and I do really think it’s cute, but haTe that dumb thought/association!! anyone else has seen it on girls when going out (not old ladies:p or brides!) ThX:)
