While visiting Key West one hot August day in 2003, we inquired to one of the merchants, "Where is the bead shop?" I was and am an avid beader. I had a cottage business, but nothing like a full blown store. We were told that Key West did not have a Bead Shop. It was then that we decided that it should have one, and we were the one's to do it. Both Paul and I were retired, we went back to Clearwater and packed up and one month later we were here in Key West. We spent a month painting and building out the space, and on October 15, 2003 we were the proud owners of "Beads of Distinction" on famous Duval street. We love the business, and the people we meet from all over the world. It has been a great year, and we are looking forward to many more. Thank you for shopping with us.
